Choppy Waters

Times get tough for everyone. Sometimes you just don’t know which way to turn or what to do. Sometimes you just need to put your hands together and pray to the Lord that he will ease your burden and carry you through the choppy waters.

I read through the scripture often and more so during tough times to find the Lords words of comfort and encouragement.

We are only human. We are not invincible. We do not have the strength of God. We break. But, what we have is God. And our God can speak to us day and night. All we have to do is open the Bible. We need his word to find peace to carry us through until the storm settles and we again feel the warmth of the sun he created on our shoulders.

KJV, Ephesians 2:8-9

For by Grace you are saved through faith. And not that of yourselves; not of works, lest any man should boast.

KJV, Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that dilingetly seek him.

KJV, Psalm 5:11

But let all who put their trust in thee rejoice; let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendeth the: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

KJV, Psalm 34:4

I sought the Lord, and he heard, and delivered me from all my fears.

KJV, Galatians 5:22

But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

KJV, John 16:22

And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your hearts shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

KJV,  Matthew 11:28

Come tuno me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

KJV Romans 8:28

And we know that  in all things work together for good to them who love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.

KJV, Psalm 130:5

I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word I do hope.KJV, 1 Peter 5:10

But the god of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.
